Dr Mikael Leidenhag
Founder and Director

Mikael holds an MA in Public Policy and Management, MA in Religious Studies, and a PhD in Philosophy of Religion. He has been a researcher at Uppsala University, the University of Edinburgh, Queen’s University Belfast, and is currently an online resource developer at the University of St Andrews. 

He has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, and founded the Digital Inclusion Research Hub in 2023. 

Lou Williams
Senior Policy and Communications Adviser

Lou holds a Master’s degree in Politics and Public Policy from Cardiff University, where he specialised in health policy and the policymaking process. His postgraduate thesis examined how centralisation and decentralisation impacted the UK’s COVID-19 response. He has also worked in the Welsh Parliament, supporting policy and constituency projects, and holds a Bachelor’s in Politics and Economics.


 

Abby McAloon
Policy Officer

Abby holds a BA (Hons) in International Politics and an MSc in Human Rights & Diplomacy, taught in conjunction with UNITAR. She works for a non-profit organisation that tackles poverty through financial inclusion. She has contributed to the works of various non-profits, and has experience researching Security and Defence internationally. 

Amin Arabo
Policy Officer

Amin is currently working at Citizens Advice Brent, supporting the organisation with their qualitative research projects and communication assets. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from University College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Southampton. During his academic studies, he focused on exploring ethical dilemmas, the structural nature of oppression, and the complexities of creating a just society through policy. With his experience in the nonprofit sector, and his academic background in political philosophy, his work is driven by the desire to identify the social trends that pose a threat to the wellbeing of our communities.
